I do not know if the MX5000 bundle will 'work' with Tiger, but I suspect that Logitech is not regressing in its Bluetooth technology. Logitech does not officially support Apple Bluetooth interoperability. Most problems are probably user errors, I suspect. I have noted a wide variety of experiences with non-Apple Bluetooth mice and keyboards on Internet forums. I have to manually toggle 'discoverable' ON-OFF in the Bluetooth System Preferences panel to link the mouse. I have not discovered the reason for this - yet. When I upgraded to 10.4.4, the mouse ceased to automatically link to the PowerBook. Most people don't use the function buttons that don't work, and some function buttons do work. Not all the buttons work on the mouse or keyboard, but it is still very functional. I am using a Logitech MX900 mouse mostly successfully with Jaguar & Tiger & a D-Link USB DB-120 adapter.
